Texas Senator Proposes Legislation to Pay Women Not to Abort Their Babies

Hey, What a great Idea... To put a value on life as an incentive! We know that a baby is of much more value than this... but why not an incentive? Especially when our government is paying that amount $$ or more for the murder of the innocent and approving it BY LAW!... Supporting Agencies who perform Abortions and giving U.S. Citizen Tax money to these groups! This is the truth!! The time has come for it to STOP!!!~ Glenn

In Texas alone, "If this incentive would give pause and change the mind of 5 percent of those woman, that's 3,000 lives. That's almost as many people as we've lost in Iraq."

There were 75,000 abortions in Texas last year. That's 75,000 innocent lives snuffed out of existence. Now,

Texas State Sen. Dan Patrick has proposed that the state pay pregnant women, who are considering an abortion, $500 if they agree not to abort their babies.

"If this incentive would give pause and change the mind of 5 percent of those woman, that's 3,000 lives. That's almost as many people as we've lost in Iraq," Patrick said.

Although Patrick has filed legislation to make it a law, Reuters reports that the legislature has not yet voted on it.
