Although I haven't read it... One of Francis' recent book titles concerning "The Passive spirit" ... Tells it all for the Church in the past few decades. We have become lulled to sleep on Delilah's lap: complacent, lethargic, enjoying the dainties of charismatic blessings... blinded of our vision and weakened of our intended strength, only able to deliver a few... But today the wake-up call is being sounded in The Spirit and we are beginning to pray out of love and not just duty!

God's Church shall no longer be compelled to dutiful, joyless servant hood... but shall receive the joy of obedience through a bridal revelation that comes with sweeping love and the all consuming fire of passion!
